Where YouTube has given you 5,000 characters to write, it is nothing but nonsense to write 2-4 lines. So enlarge the description in any way you can. The big description plays an important role in SEO.
Put Keyword in Description
Try to keep as many keywords as you can out of 5000 characters. If possible, keep the maximum number of the first 1000 characters. This will speed up the ranking of your video. You can also have multiple keywords if you want. However, give one or more keywords, try to bring it / them repeatedly in writing. You can use Ahrefs's YouTube Keyword Tool to find good keywords.
Add a link to your other videos
Give backlinks to other videos in your channel in your description. Write something short so that the viewer is attracted and clicks on your other video. It will help to increase your view.
Add Tag to Description
In addition to tagging the video, add the tags to the description. If you want, you can add tags at the end of the description with a heading called Tag. It will be more effective in SEO.
Add Hashtag
Add a unique hashtag to the description of each of your videos, depending on the name of your channel or whatever, a hashtag that can only be found on YouTube in your videos. By doing this, when someone clicks on that Hastag, your videos will appear in front of them. It can be a problem for many to understand. So I will explain with an example. Suppose your channel name is TrickBD. In that case you will write #TrickBD in the description of each video of your channel. But the question is, there can be many channels in the world in the name of your channel. What to do in that case? In that case, with a little ingenuity, you will add something more to the name.
